microchipping (1)A very high percentage of lost dogs and cats are returned to their owners if a permanent ID chip is implanted. A Home-Again microchip is inserted safely underneath the skin (often between the shoulders). One implant will last for your pet’s entire life and is detected using a specialized scanner carried by animal control officers, shelters, and veterinary hospitals. Your pet’s unique identification number allows your phone number and address to be obtained through a worldwide database allowing you to be contacted and reunited with your companion.

Although recommended, a physical examination is not required for your pet to receive an identification microchip. Please contact our office to take advantage of this critically important service.
